Candy (Weston) Kavanagh was born with a creative, intuitive spirit that shines through in every space she designs. Founder and owner of Weston Design, Candy began her career in the decorative arts—specializing in faux finishing, plastering, and custom painting. As her artistic eye and reputation grew, so did her role. Clients began hiring her as their lead interior designer, and Weston Design evolved into a full-service design firm serving both residential and commercial clients across Vermont and the East Coast.
With more than 19 years of experience and a trusted team of professionals, Candy creates soulful, intentional spaces that support her clients’ well-being. Her signature approach blends inspirational color palettes, custom artwork, and energy-cleansing practices to help people transform their homes—and their lives.
At Weston Design, Candy believes that the spaces we inhabit influence every part of our lives. Her work centers around understanding her clients’ values, lifestyles, and family stories. Whether sourcing textiles that reflect your heritage, arranging furniture to promote energy flow, or anchoring a room with meaningful heirlooms, Candy helps you create a space that feels like home—and supports your most joyful, authentic life.
💫 “What makes you laugh, sigh, and fills your heart with joy? That’s where we start.” – Candy Kavanagh
When she’s not designing interiors, Candy splits her time between South Burlington, Vermont and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, with her husband, Tim Kavanagh, and their Costa Rican rescue dog, Adora. She enjoys traveling, spiritual growth, reading, and time with their adult children.
Candy is also a dedicated caregiver advocate and active volunteer. Alongside Tim, she supports multiple nonprofit organizations focused on cancer patients, caregivers, and their families. Learn more about how you can help by visiting CancerCare.org or American Cancer Society.
