Season Four: Becoming the Light

Change Happened, Then What? returns October 6, 2026, with Season Four: Becoming the Light. After Season Three’s two-part documentaries, the podcast returns to one complete narrative story each week—exploring who someone was before change, what happened when life shifted, and who they became afterward.

The independent Vermont production is now heard in more than 50 countries and passed 5,000 cumulative downloads in June 2026. Season Four continues the show’s mission of telling honest stories about resilience, identity, healing, humor, and what comes next.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Vermont Entrepreneur-Turned-Podcaster Launches Soulful New Podcast                                                                       “Exploring Life After the Unexpected”
Heather Holt Debuts “Change Happened, Then What?”—a Story-Driven Podcast About Resilience, Healing, and Reinvention

Central Vermont — Heather Holt, a former Vermont business owner and passionate storyteller, has launched a powerful new podcast titled Change Happened, Then What?. The series highlights intimate, real-life stories of transformation, healing, and navigating life’s turning points. Each episode dives into what happens after the unthinkable—the quiet, personal revolutions that follow major life changes.

Holt brings her experience as founder of Vermont-based businesses Candles and Creations and Spirited Living into each carefully crafted documentary story. With compassion and authenticity, she invites guests from diverse backgrounds—survivors, dreamers, entrepreneurs, healers, and everyday heroes—to explore their “then what?” moments of growth, identity, and rediscovery.

“As a former small business owner, I know firsthand how hard it can be to start over after life changes everything,” says Holt. “This podcast is a reflection of my own journey—and a space to amplify the voices of others finding their way forward.”

In 2021, Holt underwent a life-altering 12-hour brain surgery to remove a benign tumor, which left her deaf in one ear and with partial facial paralysis. While some might see that as a reason to step away from audio, it only deepened her dedication to it. “Losing part of my hearing made me listen more closely—with my whole heart,” Holt says. “This podcast isn’t just a project, it’s a love letter to resilience, sound, and human connection.”

Now based in the serene hills of central Vermont, Holt is using the power of audio storytelling to create connection and community. Each episode of Change Happened, Then What? offers listeners inspiration, encouragement, and a gentle reminder that even in the darkest moments, healing and reinvention are possible.
