Holt Hill Studios is where Change Happened, Then What? is recorded, shaped, and brought to life. It is also where I provide voice-over, narration, podcast editing, and audio-production services for creators, businesses, and storytellers who want their work to sound professional without losing the humanity behind it.
From cleaning and restoring a recording to building the emotional rhythm of a complete narrative episode, I approach audio as both an engineer and a storyteller. The goal is not simply to make something sound polished. The goal is to help it connect.

Every episode of Change Happened, Then What? begins here. Interviews are shaped into immersive narrative documentaries using Heather’s narration, carefully selected guest moments, music, sound design, and pacing that gives each story room to breathe.
The studio supports complete productions, smaller editing projects, voice-over sessions, trailers, introductions, advertisements, and the detailed work required to make audio feel clear, intentional, and human.

A storyteller’s approach to editing
I do more than clean up audio and remove mistakes. I listen for the emotional rhythm of the story, the moments that need room to breathe, and the details that help a listener stay connected.
As both a trained audio engineer and a narrative podcast host, I understand the work from both sides of the microphone. My goal is to create audio that sounds professional without editing away the personality, honesty, or humanity that made the recording worth sharing.
Experience behind the sound
My experience with audio reaches back to 1993 and includes formal audio-engineering training through Full Sail University. Today, I produce Change Happened, Then What? from Holt Hill Studios using Studio One Pro 7, a PreSonus Quantum ES2 interface, and a Shure MV7 microphone.
The equipment matters, but it is only part of the process. Careful listening, pacing, organization, sound selection, and respect for the speaker’s intent are what turn a recording into something people want to keep listening to.

Working with Holt Hill Studios
Projects can begin with a complete production plan, a smaller editing need, or a recording that simply needs an experienced ear. Remote clients are welcome from anywhere.
The process begins with an initial consultation and a review of the project details. Clients may provide a link to raw files or an existing sample so I can understand the recording, scope, and production needs before preparing a custom quote.
Both complete podcast episodes and smaller audio projects are welcome. Holt Hill Studios does not accept projects containing pornographic or sexually explicit material.
