About Richard Teirney
Richard Tierney is a trauma recovery coach, author, and program creator dedicated to helping people reframe how they understand emotions, mental health, and healing.
Through his work, Richard challenges the idea that emotions themselves are disorders. One of the programs he created is designed to support the more than 290 million children diagnosed with mental health disorders worldwide, teaching them that their feelings and emotions are not pathologies—but innate, God-given instincts meant to guide and protect them.
His second program is a trauma-informed, 12-step recovery framework created to help individuals heal fully from mental health diagnoses rooted in unresolved past trauma. At the core of Richard’s approach is the belief that lasting healing comes not from suppressing emotions, but from understanding and trusting them.
Richard is the author of How to Live Stress & Anxiety Free, 24 Hours a Day and Trauma Recovery Anonymous, both available on Amazon. His work focuses on empowerment, self-trust, and restoring a sense of safety and clarity after trauma.
