Heather Holt Podcast Host | Storytelling on Healing, Resilience & Life After Change

Inspiring stories told weekly to help change your perspective — and maybe even leave you smiling.

Leah is a yoga teacher, YouTube coach, and mother who has built a life—and business—by learning to trust her intuition over everything else.

Her journey didn’t begin with clarity. It began with burnout.

While raising her neurodivergent daughter and trying to grow a yoga business, Leah found herself overwhelmed, exhausted. Questioning everything. The stress of balancing motherhood, finances, and a struggling business began to take a toll—not just on her work, but on her well-being and her family.

She reached a breaking point in 2024.

What once felt like passion started to feel like pressure. What once felt aligned began to feel forced. And for the first time in her life, she stopped trusting herself.

Everything changed after one moment of clarity.

After a Kundalini yoga class, Leah had a realization that would shift everything:

No one was going to change her life—except her.

That moment became the beginning of something new.

Instead of continuing to follow advice that didn’t fit her life, Leah slowed down and asked a different question:

What actually works for me?

That answer led her to YouTube.

Rather than chasing burnout-heavy strategies like ads and constant social media posting, Leah chose a path that allowed her to build a business around her life—not at the expense of it.

Within six months, her YouTube-based business outperformed her yoga business—not because of the niche, but because of her passion and alignment.

Today, Leah helps wellness coaches and yoga teachers grow their businesses using YouTube in a way that feels sustainable, intentional, and real.

Leah’s work is rooted in the belief that success doesn’t have to come from stress—and that sacrificing your well-being to build something meaningful, does not have to be the answer.

Alongside her coaching, Leah continues to evolve her yoga practice, blending vinyasa, kundalini, and yin yoga to support nervous system regulation and deep healing.

More than anything…

Leah is a mother who chose to do things differently.

From navigating neurodivergent parenting to choosing homeschooling, she and her family have built a life that prioritizes connection, peace, and alignment over societal expectations.

Her story is a reminder that:

You don’t always have to follow the path you’ve been given; you are allowed to create one that actually works for you.

💛 WHAT MAKES LEAH SMILE

Knowing she’s changed the way she thinks.

That she can feel something deeply—and still choose how she responds.

That she’s in control of her emotions in a way that allows her to be a more present, grounded parent.

And that kind of growth…

changes everything.

🌱 WORDS OF WISDOM

Slow down.

Take the time to figure out what you actually want— not what you’ve been told you should want.

Listen to your heart.
Trust your intuition.

And start building from there.
